Participating businesses near Main Street

Features local artists and their artworks often in cooperation with Washington County wineries. Visit with the artists and enjoy their work on a leisurely stroll through downtown Hillsboro. Don't forget to visit the Glenn and Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center's monthly exhibit opening at the same time, and leave time to visit the local galleries and open studios.

 

2008 Hillsboro Saturday Market

Saturdays, May 3rd through October 25th, 2008
8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Local Farmers bring seasonal, fresh, locally-grown produce and flowers, including all types of berries, fruits, vegetables, herbs and more. All produce products are 100% grown by the farm vendor. Quality Northwest regional and local musicians perform weekly in the market area, and represent various musical genres. This adds a wonderful ambiance and enjoyment to the market experience.

July’s live music will be:  

  • 5th July - Dan Lange - Blues
  • 12th July - Lauren Sheehan - Blues / Ragtime
  • 19th July - KingNik - Ukulele Sounds
  • 26th July - Shanghailed on the Willamette - Songs of the Sea
The Hillsboro Saturday Farmers’ Market will be open every Saturday from May 3rd through October 25th, 2008 from 8 am to 1:30 pm in historic downtown Hillsboro. One of the longest running "true" producers' markets in the Northwest, will continue its twenty-sixth season in Downtown Hillsboro on Saturday, May 10th.  Offerings include a seasonal open-air market featuring fresh local agricultural food and garden products, arts and crafts, live music - start your weekend at the market!

July's live music will be:

  • 6th July - Tony Morrison - Soul 
  • 13th July - Lauren Sheehan - Blues / Ragtime
  • 20th July - Barb Galloway - Acoustic Variety
  • 27th July - Amadeus Jones - Very Good Music!

At every Tuesday Market, you’ll find a fabulous selection of foods (pizza, burgers, burritos, salmon, seafood, fresh kettle corn and, of course, deserts). There is also a Classic Car Showcase with various types of exciting vehicles, interactive community education booths, and a fun Kid’s Area to entertain them while Mom and Dad shop or listen to great live music.
