This program honors the people that are putting their time, money, and/or influence into making our Downtown a more vibrant place to live, work, and do business. There are five categories for which individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses can be nominated and awarded.
In addition to being more prepared when it comes time to make nominations for larger award programs, this program offers several benefits, including community engagement, publicity, and general pride within the Downtown community.
Este programa rinde tributo a quienes invierten su tiempo, dinero o influencia en transformar nuestro Centro un lugar más dinámico para vivir, trabajar y emprender. Se pueden nominar candidatos —individuos, grupos, organizaciones y negocios—, para cinco categorías de premios.
Además de estar mejor preparados cuando llegue el momento de las nominaciones para programas de premios mayores, este programa tiene varios beneficios, como la participación de la comunidad, publicidad y el orgullo de ser parte de la comunidad del Centro.
We honor all the work that is being done to grow and create a vibrant Downtown. If you loved something that happened Downtown in 2021, please nominate the individual, business, or organization for an award. Just like anyone can help make Hillsboro a better place to live, anyone can nominate!
Premiamos todo el trabajo que se está haciendo para desarrollar y crear un Centro lleno de vitalidad. Si le encantó algo que sucedió en el Centro desde junio del año pasado, por favor nomine al individuo, grupo, negocio u organización para un premio. Any business, organization, government agency, fellowship group, children’s group, school, etc. that has supported efforts to cultivate a vibrant Downtown through their contributions of time, influence, donations, or just plain love for Downtown Hillsboro. They don’t have to be an official partner of HDP, but since it’s in our name, partnership is really what it’s all about!
Cualquier negocio, organización, agencia gubernamental, asociación, grupo infantil, escuela, etc., que ha apoyado los esfuerzos para fomentar un Centro dinámico al aportar su tiempo, influencia, donaciones o simplemente su amor por el Centro. This award will be for any capital project (private, public, partnership) that has benefited the Downtown community through activation, renovation, preservation, or beautification. It could include but is not limited to any of the following: residence, commercial building, public improvement, or art installation.
Este premio es para cualquier proyecto de inversión (privado, gubernamental o en colaboración) que haya beneficiado a la comunidad del Centro con activación, renovación, preservación o embellecimiento, entre ellos, residencias, edificios comerciales, mejoramiento de servicios públicos o instalación de arte.

This award will be for any event, program, sale, campaign, or other activity put on for the general public (RSVP okay, just not by-invitation-only) that brought people Downtown to participate and benefited the community.
