Salsa Night with Live Music by Pa'lante

Dance the night away in this evening of hot salsa and cool drinks! Start with a salsa lesson from Lines Dance Academy from 7 to 8 pm, then enjoy the vibrant rhythms and fiery beats of Pa’lante from 8 to 10 pm.

Started in 1985 by percussionist Nick Gefroh, Pa’lante has a distinguished history as one of Portland’s favorite Latin bands, playing Latin jazz, salsa, cumbia, merengue and timba for listening and dancing. A typical Pa’lante set moves from cookin’ Latin jazz to spicy hot salsa, to cumbia, merengue, bolero, and cha cha cha, all designed especially for dancing. Even seated listeners can’t help but respond to the compelling rhythms.
