Fire Extinguisher Inspections and Servicing Coming to The Hive
How long has it been since you got your fire extinguishers inspected and serviced? United Fire is an organization dedicated to helping our community to be safer and more prepared in the event of a fire at home or at your place of work. They recommend annual maintenance on your fire extinguisher's gauges, hose, nozzle, canister, weight, and seals as well as a six year internal inspection.
Much like regular maintenance on your car, fire extinguisher inspections will help to give you peace of mind that this last resort safety measure will keep you, your employees, and your family safe.
HDP will be hosting United Fire at the Downtown Hive for a neighborhood Fire Extinguisher Day. You will have the option to drop your extinguishers off on June 6 for next-day pick up, or you can make an appointment to stop by and wait for your service on June 7. Expert technicians will inspect, fix, or replace your fire extinguishers. Experts will also be giving free education and instruction on proper extinguisher use, and new extinguishers will be available for purchase.

- Annual inspections for $11.00 per extinguisher
- Six year maintenance on a 5lb extinguisher for $50.00
- Twelve year/Hydro maintenance for $66.00 (regular price $73.50)
- Recycling of old or condemned extinguishers will be $10 per extinguisher or free if a new extinguisher is purchased.
